Victoria Stevenson

Victoria joined Whitman in 2020 to help establish the Private Client Investment Management division. She has extensive experience of managing portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. Victoria began her career at Quilter Cheviot in 2012 and is a Chartered Fellow of the CISI. She also holds the CISI Masters in Wealth Management.

Michael Pallett

Michael Pallett

Michael has extensive relationships in the investment industry and is passionate about clients’ receiving exceptional service. After working at Laing & Cruikshank which was sold to UBS in 2004, Michael and a number of investment managers moved to build Cheviot Asset Management. In 2015 Cheviot was merged with Quilter Investment Management.

Ben Hakham

Ben Hakham

Ben has over 30 years’ experience and joined Whitman from Fairgreen Capital where he founded and managed a global equity structural growth fund. Prior to this he was the CIO of a $1bn private Family Office where he chaired the Investment Committee. Ben started his career at UBS where he established their European Emerging Markets Research & Sales desk and then helped build the number one rated global technology research team.

Riccardo Persona, CFA

Riccardo Persona

Riccardo has 15 years’ investment experience and joined Whitman in 2021 from Brewin Dolphin. He has extensive experience of managing portfolios for private clients, trusts and charities. Riccardo began his career with UBS Wealth Management in London and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Andrew Stevens

Andrew Stevens

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in financial services, joining Whitman in 2021 from Quilter Cheviot where he worked for 15years’. Andrew began his career at DLJ and moved to Prubache covering US sales trading in 2000. In 2004 he joined the dealing team at Laing and Cruickshank Investment Management, which was later acquired by UBS Wealth Management. Andy has responsibility for executing trades and other financial products in both in the UK and overseas markets.

Christopher Pease, MSCI

CIO

Christopher Pease

Christopher has over 35 years’ of investment experience and joined Whitman from Sarasin & Partners where he spent 23 years. Christopher founded the Sarasin AIM Portfolio Service in 2007 and grew the strategy to c.£100m in AuM. Prior to Sarasin, Christopher was with Henderson Investors where he managed UK pension funds, charity money and retail unit trusts.

Joshua Northrop, CFA

Joshua Northrop

Joshua joined Whitman in 2018 from Small Cap specialist Hargreave Hale. There he worked as an Assistant Fund Manager and analyst covering small cap growth stocks across several sectors since 2013. Joshua is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

George Henderson, IMC

George Henderson

George joined the team from the sell side. Prior to this he was part of Smith & Williamson’s audit team, where he initially trained. George has his IMC and is currently studying for his CFA Level 1.

Araminta Le Flufy

Araminta has over 15 years’ experience in the AIM and Smaller Company world. She spent 6 years at Whitman Howard, sitting on the Senior Management team helping to build the core business both in the public and private markets. Prior to that she was an Associate Director at Numis Securities.

Anna Gaffney

General Counsel & Compliance Officer

Anna Gaffney

Anna has over 25 years' experience in financial services initially as an M&A lawyer practicing in London and New York and thereafter as in-house General Counsel and Compliance Officer. She has a Law degree from Cambridge University and holds a CISI Diploma in Financial Regulation and Compliance.

Richard Lamb

Richard Lamb

Richard has had a long career in Asset Management spanning 33 years. Most recently Richard was a Founding Partner at Hansa Capital where he led the investment strategy from 2000 to 2013. Richard helped build Hansa Capital from £150m at inception in 2000 to £1.5bn in 2013. Prior to this he held senior positions at Morgan Grenfell and Rothschild Asset Management.

Richard Morecombe

Richard has over 25 years' of experience in Equity markets. He is currently on the management board of Panmure Gordon, and previously the founder of the Whitman Group acquired by Panmure in July 2020. Richard was also Head of Equities at Numis Securities where he was one of the original management team.
